In the style of a swashbuckling Mr. Rogers, “Pirate School: Marooned Together!” is a bold and engaging comedy series of six 30 minute episodes that address the anxiety of isolation and the challenges of social distancing. And who knows how to survive the stressors of being marooned alone, better than a pirate?
With humor, bravado and a wholesome, heart of gold “Pirate School: Marooned Together!” is led by the dashingly foolish pirate Professor Billy Bones who, during the pandemic, guides kids and their families to use the same skills needed to survive a marooning: patience, inventiveness, grit, creativity and courage. Each action-packed episode abounds with riotous lessons, fun challenges, activities and engaging segments such as the Science of Pirates, Pirate Poetry, Show & Tell, Craft Time, Recess, Pirate Snacks and more.
